JEFF FULLER
Jeff was born in Lake City, IA. He attended high school in Spirit Lake; eventually going on to college at the Brown Institute. Jeff later met Jana and married the love of his life in 1982. The Fullers reside in Cherokee, IA where they currently own an AM & FM Station. Together Jeff & Jana share 5 amazing, witty, fun-loving children. Throughout his career in radio, Jeff has maintained a valuable reputation, as well as playing an active role in the community.
Jeff started his career 30 years ago as an on-air talent, which grew into sales, and took part in every aspect of radio along the way. So far, Jeff has worked in Windom, MN, Emmetsburg, IA, Denison, IA, Cherokee, IA and now Yankton, SD. Through the experience in these different towns of less than 10,000 in total population, Jeff has learned the need and importance of a great local station; along with the belief in local involvement and support for the community, businesses, and loyal listeners. Now the Owner and President of 5 Star Communications, Jeff is dedicated to you!
SIMON FULLER
Simon is the son of Jeff Fuller. He was born in Windom, MN. He attended high school in Denison, IA; where he was raised. Simon eventually decided to attend Buena Vista University studying Business. After the purchase of 5 Star Communications, Simon ventured to Yankton, where he currently resides. Simon has been in radio all his life, starting his career at his fathers station in Denison when he was 13, and also working there as a teenager. While in Cherokee, Simon worked for KCHE Radio, the station his father also currently owns, doing mostly sales.
Simon has a reputation as an animal lover and would do anything for a pet in need. Simon also stays very active in community events and enjoys any challenge that comes his way. Simon, like his father, also understands the importance of supporting local communities. Simon has very much enjoyed his transition to the area and now the Manager of 5 Star Communications; Simon promises to build and promote the community and its businesses, as well as provide the same loyalty to his listeners as they have and do to him. Simon is very excited for the future success of 5 Star Communications and looks forward to many memories with all of you!
