* In January of 2009 KVHT/KVTK needed to fill a full time news/radio announcer position. Robert Pfund was hired on January 28, 2009
* In August of 2009 KVHT/KVTK radio needed to fill a full time Account Executive position. Bruce Jensen was hired August 3, 2009

OUTREACH INITIATIVES
1.Maintained paid membership to the South Dakota Broadcasters Association to have access to employment bank and have the ability to post job openings.
2.Maintained relationship with the University of South Dakota Mass Communications Department in order to have access to the department to post job openings or internships.
3.Maintained relationship with The Native American Studies Department at the University of South Dakota in order to post job openings or internships. Kevin Culhane, General Manager of KVHT-FM/KVTK-AM was the featured speaker at numerous communication classes at the University of South Dakota.
4.Maintained relationship with Public Relations Director at Mt. Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota in order to post job openings and or internships through the College.
5.Maintained relationship with S.E.Tech Center in Yankton, South Dakota with respect to job openings.
6.Maintained relationship with South Dakota Career Center in order to post job openings. Community Outreach: Station personnel were featured speakers at a number of community organizations including but not inclusive, Women’s interchange a professional club for women in the workplace. Rotary Club, Sertoma Club, Kiwanis Club, Optimist Club and Exchange Club.
7.Maintained a relationship with local Colleges, the University of South Dakota, Mt. Marty College, Yankton High School, Vermillion High School and other High Schools in listening area of both stations. We gave numerous tours of our facilities to both students looking into the communications field for employment and those that were not.
